Ambassador Kimonyo Addressed Third Belt and Road Initiative High Quality Development Forum
On 19th November 2022, Rwanda’s Ambassador to China, H.E. James Kimonyo virtually joined the Third Belt and Road Initiative High Quality Development Forum organized by Jiangxi University of Science and Technology.
Held under the theme "Quality Industry and Supply Chain Development under the Auspices of Belt and Road Initiative". The forum aimed to provide an academic environment for researchers and scholars with different perspectives and views but mutual learning and compatibility, who are committed to studying the high-quality development of the Belt and Road industrial supply chain and related fields.
Speaking at the forum, Ambassador Kimonyo commended China for initiating Belt and Road Initiative, which is benefiting not only Chinese and African people, but the entire world. Rwanda joined the Belt and Road Initiative in 2018. The initiative is a welcome opportunity that will boost access to the coast by landlocked countries while catalyzing economic development.
“Rwanda will continue to partner with the rest of the world to further deepen Belt and Road Initiative cooperation,” the Ambassador said.
Founded in 1958, Jiangxi University of Science and Technology currently provides a wide range of training programs and features distinctive disciplines and a balanced curriculum of science, engineering, materials, computer, economics, management, arts and law.
