Ambassador Kimonyo Delivered a Lecture at the Beijing Foreign Studies University
On 22nd November 2024, Ambassador James Kimonyo delivered a lecture under the theme, “revival of cultural values as a tool to heal and develop a nation” at the Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU). The Ambassador shared Rwanda's healing journey through the use of Home-Grown Solutions.
“Rwanda's impressive transformation journey is underpinned by the visionary leadership that embraced unconventional solutions and initiatives to heal the nation and embarked on a path of inclusive development built on core values of Unity, Accountability and Thinking Big,” the Ambassador said.
The Ambassador also met with the leadership of Beijing Foreign Studies University and discussed exploring ways to strengthen and expand cooperation in the education sector. Currently, the university cooperates with the University of Rwanda in language exchange program.
BFSU offers 101 foreign languages program, including Kinyarwanda and other official languages from different African, European and Asian countries.
