Ambassador Kimonyo Delivered a Lecture at the Communication University of China
On 14th May 2024, Ambassador James Kimonyo delivered a lecture on the destructive and constructive face of media at the Communication University of China. Drawing from Rwanda 's experiences, he shared insights on the impact of media before, during and after the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.
The Ambassador also met with the leadership of the Communication University of China and discussed ways to further strengthen the existing partnership as well as establishing development cooperation in the education sector through Forum on China Africa Cooperation (FOCAC).
The University Vice President, Prof. Yang Yi spoke highly of the existing relations between the two sides and noted that the University looks forward to continue working with educational institutions in Rwanda through framework of FOCAC.
