Beijing Expo is an Opportunity to Showcase Products and to Witness Chinese Ingenious Architecture – Ambassador Kayonga

Rwanda booth at the ongoing Beijing horticulture expo attracts many visitors.

Rwanda is among many other countries and international organizations that are participating in the 2019 Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition in Beijing. 

In an interview with China Global Television Network at the expo, Ambassador Charles Kayonga commends the Beijing horticulture expo as “ingenious architecture”. “Beijing horticulture expo is an opportunity for countries not only to showcase their products but also to witness the ingenious architecture of China., China tries to harmonize man’s activity with nature,” remarked the Ambassador.

The envoy further commends the belt & road initiative, as an excellent opportunity that not only connects Africa with China but also with other countries. Rwanda awaits the implementation of the planned East African Standard Gauge railway that aims to link the East African Coast to the West stimulating production along its corridor.

Through bilateral relationship with China, Rwanda has seen many cooperation activities including education and medical health facilities among others.

At the exhibition, Rwanda booth activities were live broadcasted via China social media attracting millions of viewers. Rwanda booth is displaying coffee, banana wine (Akarusho), chill oil (Akabanga), and made in Rwanda handcrafts.
