Belt & Road Collaborative Innovation Center Holds more opportunities, Ms. Zhang Lu

On, 6th January 2019, Rwanda embassy attended the Belt & Road Agricultural Industry Exchange Forum at Belt & Road Collaborative Innovation Center (BRCIC) in Qingdao, Licang District.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Zhang Lu, the Chairperson of Belt & Road Collaborative Innovation Center (BRCIC) told the audience that, “BRCIC holds more agricultural opportunities between the countries under Belt & Road Initiative and China. This forum gives more opportunities for cooperation in the development of agricultural industry between countries under B&R and China.”

BRCIC is a bridge connection linking together Chinese investors and countries under Belt & Road Initiative. Agricultural conference forum shows the available opportunities, the remaining work is how we can use the opportunities.

On behalf of Ambassador of Rwanda to China, Mr. Augustin Buregeya, the Embassy First secretary explained that Rwanda along other African countries would seize the opportunity to make changes in the agriculture industry for the benefit of Chinese investors and Africans.

Qingdao, local government supports the partnership of Belt & Road Agricultural Industry Exchange Forum. Under Belt & Road Initiative, BRCIC will benefit all parties involved, according to the local government representative at the event. 

Belt & Road Collaborative Innovation Center (BRCIC) established Economic and Trade Liaison Offices for a number of countries Rwanda among them.

Zhang Lu, the BRCIC Chairperson said that the offices will be used to promote the cooperation between China and signatory countries in different fields. “We are working together with the respective embassies of the signatory countries in China to use the already provided offices accordingly.”
