Charity Bazaar for African and China Women’s Development Fund in Beijing

On 31st March, Rwanda Embassy to China along with other African Embassies participated in the African Charity Bazaar for African and China Women’s Development Fund in Beijing.

This year event was organized by Africa Ambassador’s Spouses Association, China Women's Development Foundation and the Center for Public Diplomacy and Cultural exchange. The different unique African handcrafts, coffee, wood carvings and other hand - made works from African countries were presented at the event.

“We look forward to work closely with Rwanda, as the current African Union Chairman to ensure more collaboration with Africa”, said the Ma Zhenxuan, the president of the Center for Public Diplomacy and Cultural Exchange.

The center for Public Diplomacy and Cultural Exchange will maintain close cooperation and deep friendship with the African Ambassador’s Association and the African Embassies in China, Ma Zhenxuan added.

The charity sale of the admission tickets and charity money will be donated to the China Women's Development Foundation, "Central African Women's Development Fund" for the development of Women in Central Africa project.

Appreciating the African Ambassadors Spouses, His Excellency Victor Chiconina, the Dean of African Ambassadors Group said that the ultimate goal of diplomatic pursuits is to maintain, defend and achieve lasting peace throughout the world and requires the mobilization of good wishes and joint action from all levels of decision-making.
