China Foreign Affairs University, Entrepreneurship Camp Visit Embassy of Rwanda in Beijing
On 24 April 2019, Chinese Foreign Affairs University Entrepreneurship Camp visited Rwanda Embassy in Beijing. The visit is part of the China Foreign Affairs University Foreign Related Innovation and Entrepreneurship Camp activities.
This was the fifth Foreign Related Innovation and Entrepreneurship Camp, held by the University of Foreign Affairs.
At the Embassy, the group was introduced to Rwanda and given facts about the country including tourism attractions and doing business environment.
Mrs. Yuan Li, the dean of the school of international education who led the delegation said that China Foreign Affairs University commends good friendship with embassy. “It is our second time to visit embassy of Rwanda, we have good memories with the embassy since our first visit last year to this current visit” Li noted.
“Through presentations and video, we have learnt much about Rwanda. We congratulate Rwanda for the unity and transformation following the 1994 Genocide against Tutsi”, she said.
“China and Rwanda are longtime good friends. We wish to visit Rwanda in the near future and there is no doubt that one day one of our camp members here will also visit Rwanda,” Mrs. Li said.
The camp delegation was given opportunity to interact with embassy diplomats and Ambassador by asking different questions about life in Rwanda as well as the business environment in the country.
