On Tuesday, 7th February, 2017 a delegation of six companies specializing in Agriculture, Medical equipment, Electrical power, Culture and Oil and Chemical production paid a visit to the embassy of Rwanda in Beijing, to discuss business investment opportunities in Rwanda. 

The delegation was led by Mr. Huang Zhao Jin, Chairman of China-Asia Economic Development Association Overseas cooperation committee, who expressed interest to explore Rwanda, as their potential investment destination. 

Ambassador Charles Kayonga gave the team a presentation showcasing the opportunities that are in Rwanda in all sectors emphasizing security, and ease of doing business in the country. Rwanda has been rated the most efficient government in Africa as well as the second in doing business in Africa after Mauritius. In addition to being good for business, Rwanda is a premier tourism destination. Tourists have increasingly been visiting to see the fascinating scenery of Rwanda, and the rare specials of animals including the mountain gorillas. Kigali is also becoming a center for meetings and conferences on the continent as it continues to host major international meetings and conferences.
