Rwanda–China (Hubei) Business Forum Successfully Held in Wuhan
On 1st August 2025, as part of the ‘Meet Rwanda in China’ event, a high-level business forum was held in Wuhan, Hubei Province.
Organized with the support of the Hubei Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) – Hubei Sub-Council, and the China-Africa Industrial Forum (CAIF), the event brought together over 200 Chinese enterprises from various sectors, including manufacturing, agriculture and agro-processing, healthcare, real estate and construction, and mining, among others.
Speaking at the forum, Ambassador James Kimonyo emphasized that Rwanda is open for business, highlighting the government’s efforts in creating a conducive environment to ensure investor success. He warmly invited participants to visit Rwanda and explore the abundant opportunities the country offers.
Following the forum, a delegation of Chinese enterprises organized by the China-Africa Industrial Forum (CAIF) will visit Rwanda to further explore investment and trade opportunities.
