Rwandan Community in Beijing Welcomed Ambassador James Kimonyo
Rwandan Community in Beijing on Friday 22 November 2019 welcomed Ambassador James Kimonyo at the Embassy of Rwanda in Beijing premises.
After presenting the letter of credence to H.E President Xi Jinping, Ambassador Kimonyo was received by the Rwandan community in Beijing wishing him warm welcome and success in his new responsibilities as the Ambassador of Rwanda to China.
James Kimonyo was appointed the Ambassador of the Republic of Rwanda in the People’s Republic of China in July 2019.
In his remarks, Ambassador Kimonyo expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome accorded to him and stressed the importance of the role of Rwandan Community Abroad (RCA) in the country’s political and socio-economic transformation.
He further expressed his gratitude to Rwandan community in China whose majority are students to work hard and upon graduation use their diverse talents and skills to contribute to nation building.
On behalf of Rwanda community in Beijing, Zimurinda Victorien thanked the Ambassador and expressed the community’s commitment to participate and play active role into Embassy activities.
The Rwanda community in Beijing is one of the Rwandan communities in China with more numbers of Rwandans in China.
