Rwandan Community in China Elects New Central Committee

On 3rd May 2021, the Rwandan Community in China (RCA / China) convened virtually to elect new central leadership committee.

Mrs. Emmerance Beneyo Nteziyaremye, the outgoing Vice President expressed appreciation to the Rwandan community in China and outgoing committee members for their commitment, participation, and contribution to diaspora activities and that of the Embassy in general.

The outgoing committee noted several accomplishments achieved during their tenure including unity among the Rwandans in China, creation of new city committees and good collaboration with the Embassy of Rwanda in China among others.

The new central committee team elected  includes, RCA /China President; Narcisse Mulinga, Vice President; Placide Uwonkunda, Secretary; Pamela Ingabire, Treasure; Steve Muhikira Mupenzi and five other commissioners in charge of Sport, culture and social affairs, Gender commissioner, Communication and discipline, Development and investment and Auditor.

The new team vowed to build on the achievements of their predecessors, to support establishment of more communities, pattern with different organizations, and launch initiatives that lead to more contribution to Rwanda's development. 

On behalf of the Embassy, Ambassador James Kimonyo expressed the Embassy's appreciation for the job well done by the outgoing committee and Rwandans in China. 

The Ambassador pledged Embassy's continued collaboration and support to the incoming committee in the advancement of the Rwandan Community in China.
