From 5^th to 10^th November 2022, Rwanda participated in the fifth China International Import Expo (CIIE), at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai.

Against the global pandemic outbreak that affected global economy, the show was an opportunity to market Rwandan products and to attract Chinese investors.

Rwandan products, including dried chilli, coffee and handcrafts were showcased at the exhibition. It is for the fifth time that Rwanda participates in the expo, which features exhibits from worldwide countries and business forums.

Since its first edition in 2018, CIIE has become a good platform to attract Chinese investors and a gateway for more Rwandan products to enter the Chinese market.

This year's CIIE, was a higher-level and more professional event, witnessed a large number of launch events and served as a platform where global enterprises shared development opportunities for win-win cooperation. More than 280 Fortune Global 500 companies and industry-leading enterprises participated in the event.
