Rwandans Community in China Called To be A beacon of Heroic Values
On 1st February 2025, the Rwandan community in China joined the rest of the world in marking 31st National Heroes Day celebrations held under the theme “Heroism and Unity for Rwanda's Development."
Speaking at the event, Ambassador James Kimonyo and the Defence Attaché, Col Janvier Mujaribu, expressed the gratitude to the Rwandan men and women who exemplified and sacrificed for the wellbeing of the country and urged the community to be a beacon of heroic values and actively contribute to Rwanda's development.
Both speakers emphasized the importance of emulating the courage, unity, sacrifice and determination of those who shaped Rwanda's destiny. They called on the community to uphold these values in their day-to-day lives and pass them on to future generations to preserve Rwanda's legacy.
