South Sudan’s Ambassador to China Paid A Courtesy Visit to Ambassador James Kimonyo
On 6th August 2025, Ambassador James Kimonyo received a courtesy visit from the Ambassador of South Sudan to China, Mr. Morris Simon Batali, at the Embassy of Rwanda in Beijing.
Their discussions focused on the situation in South Sudan and the Great Lakes Region. Ambassador Batali proposed collaboration in areas of reconciliation and peacebuilding, to which Ambassador Kimonyo responded by sharing insights on Rwanda’s experience and the ongoing efforts to promote peace and stability across the Great Lakes Region.
