The Embassy Together With RCA/China Organized A Cultural Event
On 14th December 2024, the Embassy, in collaboration with Rwandan Community Living in China (RCA/ China), organized a cultural event to celebrate and showcase Rwandan heritage. The celebration featured traditional dances, riddles, board games, and storytelling.
Speaking at the event, Ambassador James Kimonyo emphasized the importance of cultural values in nation-building, noting that Rwanda is built on cultural values. “Reflecting on our history and preserving our culture are critical to continued progress in the development of our nation.”
The event brought together Rwandans and friends of Rwanda and provided an opportunity to welcome new members of RCA/ China and celebrate Christmas while reflecting on the achievements of 2024 as we prepare to welcome the New Year, 2025.
