The Youth Must Steadfastly Maintain Momentum of Liberation – Says Ambassador Charles Kayonga.

From the 2nd July to 5th July Rwanda’s Ambassador in China along with embassy second counselor visited Liaoning province on business tour and met the leaders of Liaoning province in Shenyang city. They discussed business investment cooperation opportunities between Liaoning province and Rwanda. 

While at Jinzhou Municipality, the Ambassador held Liberation day commemoration with Rwandan community living in Liaoning province and neighboring districts. The Ambassador reminded the Rwandan community the value that enabled the successful conduct of the Liberation struggle that also stopped the genocide and saved many Rwandans that were being killed. 

The Liberation struggle involved sacrifice and commitment.  True liberation is characterized by development, freedom and dignity of citizens, Ambassador Kayonga said. Our country’s development trend is assures us that sacrifice was not in vain.

“You should uphold Rwanda’s development and work hard to maintain and make your own contribution to this development” Ambassador Charles Kayonga told the students. Prof. Paul LIANG from Jinzhou medical University applauded the partnership between embassy of Rwanda in China and their university. He promised to maintain close cooperation between his school and the Embassy of Rwanda.
